25 January 2003. Sven Vanthourenhout wins the Kasteelcross in Zonnebeke. It's his second victory as a professional cyclocross rider and his first in the colours of the new Quick-Step - Davitamon team. After Quick-Step, a product of the Wielsbeek-based Unilin Group, first appeared as a co-sponsor on the iconic Mapei jerseys in 1999, it has been the main sponsor since 2003. Sven's victory marks the start of an unimaginable series.
