Belgium is home to some of cycling's most sacred climbs. The Kwaremont, Paterberg, Muur Van Geraardsbergen and the rest are well known by fans and riders alike, but the extent of Belgium's riding opportunities doesn't end with these headline acts. Our friends at www.cyclist.co.uk selected some of the best climbs in the Vlaamse Ardennen of East Flanders, the region where the Tour of Flanders plays out each year and Heuvelland, which means 'Hill Country', in West Flanders and features in Gent-Wevelgem.Some of these segments do appear in pro races from time to time, but 'Cyclist' tried to choose ones that they usually miss out. Good luck finding them on your next pilgrimage.
